Key management can be used in a wide variety of cases:
Employees can get access to different company-internal keys via authorizations. This means that there is only one key, which is securely stored in the drawer and issued when required. You do not need to have a large number of keys for one and the same door. The system can also be used by external parties. External staff can get an access after an identification to a key.
Another point is the introduction of a key handover terminal for the contactless and secure handover of vehicle keys. Annoying excel tables are replaced by an automated, complete and audit-proof logging system. Employees benefit considerably from this. The time flexible collection and return of vehicle keys makes the workflow more efficient for everyone.
This means that even car dealership customers can drop off and pick up their vehicle keys outside of opening hours. To do so, the car dealer simply places the key in the handover terminal and sends a QR code or a TAN to the customer. The customer then identifies himself on the device, the parking space is displayed, the compartment door opens and the vehicle key is withdrawed.
