IQAir’s HyperHEPA filters have been independently type-tested in accordance with the world’s most stringent HEPA filter test norm (European Norm EN 1822). The results show that IQAir removes ultrafine particles down to 0.003 microns in size with a guaranteed minimum filtration efficiency of 99.95%. This means that IQAir systems reliably capture pollutants and microorganisms up to 100 times smaller than ordinary air cleaners and 10 times smaller than a virus.
